Workshop Leader: J. Scott McElroy is the author of Finding Divine Inspiration: Working with the Holy Spirit in Your Creativity (Destiny Image) and founder of The New Renaissance Arts Movement. He writes and speaks nationally on arts renewal in the Church and the culture, and teaches artists to listen for God’s voice and collaborate with Him in their creativity.
Saturday Night Arts Coffeehouse: We’ve added an extra element to to the day! The workshop ends at 4pm, then there will be an opportunity you use what you learned later in the evening at an Arts Coffeehouse from 6:30-9. We’ll make spontaneous prophetically inspired art for people that come to the coffeehouse and/or you can paint or draw live. It’ll be a great opportunity stretch your creative wings and put into practice what we learned earlier in the day. There will be gourmet coffee served by the Vineyard youth ministry (to support upcoming missions trips) and excellent live music from recording artist Jason Barrows of the band The Heritage.
